Good morning ECP! Tuesday evening our school board discussed masks and mandating masks for students. At this time, the board and I continue to believe and support that parents should make this decision for their child. The attached letter will provide more details. Although we are not mandating masks for students, we do ask for your help in encouraging the usage of masks to help us keep the doors open for in-person learning and to help us allow our students to continue with extracurricular activities. Good morning ECP! This morning our district was informed that an employee has been direclty exposed by a family member this weekend. The employee will go on a 14-day quarantine. The district will work with local health officials to determine all necessary steps. Due to the exposure over the weekend and with the Virtual Monday, no other staff members or students will be placed on quarantine at this time. Monday, Sept. 14's home JH football games with Walters have been canceled.
ECP School District has received notification that an employee has tested positive for Covid-19. The staff member displayed symptoms this morning at their home and decided to take precautions and go get tested. The test was positive and the staff member is on a 10-day quarantine based on the positive test. The administration is conducting contact tracing with the help of the local health department and the employee and will notify anyone that has been in close contact. Those close contacts will be placed on a 14-day quarantine. Due to a driver shortage, ECP schools will be consolidating its 5 bus routes into 4 routes starting Friday morning, Sept. 11. Notes will come home with students tomorrow after school to inform parents of new morning pick-up times.
